    I emailed Garmin regarding this item to make sure it would work on my Yamaha Majesty because they stated it was not a good idea for motorcycles. They said it should be fine for my scooter. The mount affixes easily and holds the Garmin nuvi 550 perfectly and securely. What it doesn’t do well is hold it’s position. The unit is built with a swivel-ball so you can adjust the screen where you want it. The vibrations caused in normal riding (at about any speed) will make your gps settle at the lowest point. That is my only complaint.

    I have a vespa 300gts and also a pink vespa limited edition,this works perfectly with both, couldn’t be more happy.
