Motorized bicycle with Italian moped engine

The Chinese engine kit I bought off of Ebay to mount on my 70′s Schwinn Cruiser wasn’t quite what I had hoped it to be in terms of reliability, in fact, it blew up. I replaced the engine with a Morini S5K2 50cc moped eng, had to fab up my own mounts but it works great AND is actually faster than the old 80cc Chinese wonder it replaced (and MUCH quieter mechanically). I have approx 50miles on this bike now with zero issues. Centrifical clutch and a lighting coil built into the magneto for a headlight..cool huh?

    LOL the camera operator mentiones it’s an Indian motor did he say? Deffo not an Indian motor, as even a 1920 indian motor the cyclinders alone would be 5 times the size and there’s be 2 of them in a v twin format, and 4 stroke, and shake spit and pop the bolts loose on the frame haha. Nice motor and bike setup though. Cheers, IC.

    I’m not being ignorant just stating. I’ll look at it but I still prefer gas because of its benefits. These 2cycles still are pretty low emissioned. I like the setup this bike has.

    @X92Exploder range maybe but power and torque can be much higher with electric drive. you speak from ignorance. search for killacycle here on youtube. and wrightspeed X1.
    and it is silent and smoke free

    Electric is not as good as gas driven motors, with gas you have better torque, power and distance.

    probably be better off with those skinny tires like 27x 1.75s front and back might go faster and get better mileage xD

    dude i got a china engine , i followed manual head torque specs broke the studs 2 times, i torque now not to specs and the shit that engine has gone through is unbelievable , i love it
