How to register my Honda moped with Michigan without the title or registration?

Hi, I have a Honda Moped that was bought brand new some 8 years ago, give or take a few. My brother registered it and everything and rode it on the street. But now I can’t find it’s title or registration. How can I go about registering it with the state of Michigan still?

    you’ll need the title; if it’s in your brothers name, he can apply for duplicate. and then transfer to you, if you like.
