This is my 2002 currie/swinn electric scooter. The battery has been sitting for so long without being charged that it burnt up and will no longer hold a charge. So im going to convert it to gas. All i need now is to find a good chainsaw or weed eater engine to put on it.
POS watched Zeitgeist Utopia and wants an electric scooter for many years now i have wanted to travel at the cost of saving others and the environment and helping others save the way we live using old ideas of geothermal energy, solar and batteries, and after watching Zeitgeist movies it has really made an impact upon the way i think about the world and how a short fat ginger English bloke can make a difference in baby steps, I would like to say that I think that the Zeitgeist movie was one of the best propaganda informational tips for a better or cleaner future, my worry is i ont know if the gov information is all correct or the super power people are as evil as it says but the cleaner living concepts i do love them, I do however think that many people in this world are capable of the evil i saw as I see the video footage of the terror and mass destruction from history whether right or wrong and for whos gain for our grandchildrens future, could the video be aimed at people like me who has very little, no money or future ? the things i could do with a small amount but times have changed for us again one day my heart will be full once more continuing to help others in my little way, i just want an electric powered wheel for my bike to start to educate others that is my goal for 2011 besides providing for my family yet more over helping folk to heat and power homes undercutting the powers that be who charge mass amounts of money just to run a radio in the home never mind …

This is the electric scooter that I am building, it isn’t complete yet. I have put a 5kw Turnigy CA80-80 brushless motor on it and am planning to run 6 x 6s 5000 packs in a 12S 3P configuration which will give me 48v with about 500WH of usable capacity (80% discharge).
